Consumers and contractors interested in purchasing energy efficient appliances and systems for their homes and residential projects can apply for available state rebates that can be used toward the purchase of a variety of eligible Bosch Thermotechnology products including high quality Bosch gas tankless water heaters, Bosch and Buderus solar thermal systems, Buderus floor-standing and wall-hung boilers and FHP geothermal systems.

Riverside Correctional Facility Case Study

The “greening” of a prison facility through the installation of a Buderus solar thermal system.

Since December 24, 2008, 800 inmates of Riverside Correctional Facility have been in hot water, but not of their own making. This hot water is made by the sun and it is estimated
to save the City of Philadelphia $1.1 million and prevent one million pounds of carbon emissions over the 25-year life of the system.

Bosch TT Sponsored Solar House Wins "Solar Decathlon"

Wetzlar – On October 19, 2007 Darmstadt Technical University won the Solar Decathlon, a prestigious international competition in Washington D.C. run by the US Department of Energy. The team received 1024 out of a possible 1200 points to finish ahead of the University of Maryland (999). “In a class of its own!” was the judges’ verdict.

Bosch Introduces Solar Thermal

Washington, D.C.: October 1, 2007 - Bosch Thermotechnology division today announced the addition of Bosch and Buderus solar thermal water heating systems and components for both residential and commercial customers in the U.S. Final product certification for these solar thermal water heating systems are nearing completion and product will be offered by Bosch Thermotechnology Corporation at the beginning of 2008.
